topshop
flared pants, impressionistic flower prints, brown strappy gladiators on perspex stripper heels. makes me excited for summer. a little messy, but so fresh. makes me see a lot of typical silhouettes and basics in a new light. a lot of cleaning up, and this collection would have been amazing. i think you'd have to watch the show to appreciate, stills just don't do it.

acne
blogger's favourite no doubt. can't help but love it, so simple and chic. perfectly comfortable. love the wedge of the shoe, hate the rest of it, don't even know what they were thinking. and the sunnies - say what? most unflattering shape i've ever seen in my entire life.

mary katrantzou
the master of prints, i can't even fathom the skill needed to be able to put together such difficult prints and not make it clash or just plain ugly. and they are really effective on the simple silhouette. lovely shoes.

charles anastase
another blogger favourite. shoes are always amazing. maybe i'm just a sucker for awkward length skirts.

hannah marshall
sheer is the perfffect transitional fabric, or even just straight into summer. reminiscent of fall looks yet still floaty and cool enough for summer. LOVE IT.

matthew williamson
maxi's were so beautiful. so floaty and summery. this collection reminds me of travelling to exotic places and having lunch at corner cafe's.

erderm
ok christopher kane's fw10 fail photogrphic floral prints have been rescued by erdem who have just WON. MY HEART. so difficult to find the best 6 .. i kind of didn't want to push it, but i sincerely recommend you look at the entire collection.

peter pilotto
a lot of clash and unflatteringness with fabrics/drape and working with the patterns but when it worked, it worked so well.

antonio berardi
the splash of hot pink was so perfect in the middle, and then the muted pastels towards the end. nothing groundbreaking, but pretty and wearable doesn't need to be groundbreaking.

honourable mentions
sass and bide
i think they've pretty much reached their prime. they've got an obvious aesthetic that is pinpoint-able from the get go, which is not necessarily a bad thing ... and on second thought probably a great thing. there is no doubt sass and bide had one of the better runway shows, i guess i've never really liked sass and bide just because their clothes are ridiculously overpriced - and not even that nice. let's just see what they do next season.
burberry
very typical burberry although i did fail to see the summer in the collection due to all the trench coats and studded leather jackets but whatever. the leopard prints were horrible. this was bailey going out on a limb and kind of failing. atleast the looks that were safe were done perfectly.
karen walker
so cute! some of it bordered on pyjama wear, but seriously the florals that didn't were so unbelievably cute i wanted to die.

milan's started and i'm already disappointed. even some of the big labels failed to impress me .. not that any of them usually do. SEE YOU IN A FEW DAYS!

also just an explanation why i got a bloglovin' -- my counter told me someone was directed to my blog via bloglovin' and i was like wut i don't have a bloglovin' so i made one to see if i could find out who it was, but i couldn't. the end. FOLLOW ME!

doo.ri
if it weren't for these three looks and a few others, this wouldn't have even made it into the 'honorable mentions' category. doo.ri had pretty much a handful of unflattering drape and i don't think the collection was entirely cohesive. atleast the looks above were so unbelievably perfect it gave me an excuse to ignore the rest.

band of outsiders
looking back on it ... i'm half over it. a lot of hit and misses, and the menswear was a little bland. kind of cute, kind of boring.

y-3
yesyesyes unisex. casting was great, hot menmenmen. again, looking back on it, it wasn't as amazing as it was the first time, but still, yohji is probably only one of a few who can send an almost entirely black collection down the runway and still call it summer. fuck yes.

tommy hilfiger
so cute. i bet the models would have had heaps of fun backstage and on the runway. classic american sportswear and, can i say, 10x cuter than bloody lacoste.

cushnie et ochs
so clean cut and simple. and the shoe detail actually made everything. there was also a really nice balance between tailored, fit items and drape.

rodarte
i'm not going to include any photos from rodarte because i acually didn't really like a lot of the looks, particularly fabrication, clashing prints etc. however it was still fresh and i'm a little sick of people saying it's 'not-rodarte'. it's a trillion times better than the drapey shit they've beein doing for the past 50 seasons. it's a step up but i'm anticipating next season for rodarte because their ideas will have flourished and hopefully will have stopped using such cheap, hideous looking fabrics. it's still a little messy and cluttered, particularly since they've kept their 'throwing random shit together' aesthetic from previous seasons. kind of a lack of design i guess. it's okay, they will be somewhat amazing for fall i hope.

theykens theory
ughhh completely my aesthetic. contrary to everyone else's opinion i HATE the angle and wish we had the typical straight on photographs. this angle prevents so much of the outfit to be visible which is kind of disappointing because this collection looks amazing. it looks so effortless and comfortable. grocery shopping wear :)

proenza schouler
took me a while to appreciate some of the looks and still unsure about the middle section. opening looks and closing look were amazing though.

3.1 phillip lim
oh god you have to watch the video to appreciate. the backs of most of the looks were what made this collection magic. it was the perfect balance of hard or detailed fronts with soft sheer backs. inspired by menswear but still had a feminine beauty that is hard to capture while doing menswear for women. can't even express how much perfection was in this collection (RHYME).

marchesa
probably the only label that can spit out the same shit every season yet still be worshipped for it. marchesa has probably never ever failed. i guess this season, i can give them credit for including these perfect lace jumpsuits that i want living in my wardrobe right now.

honorable mentions
jeremy scott
will never be able to take him seriously, but i guess that's his intention. kind of fun. definitely NOT gaga inspired, contrary to popular belief fuck ya bloggers.
philosophy di alberta ferreti
conceptually it was great, however a few looks were wayyyy too literal for my taste. opening prints were beautiful but i think it just got way too crazy with the colours.
calvin klein
haha what can i say, minimalism at its best.

that's it! see you guys after london.
